Sometimes, things happen that leave us with more questions than answers.

Last night at around midnight, this woman’s boyfriend was driving her home. She was on her phone and had something pulled up to show her boyfriend once they’d parked.

Suddenly, he whipped around and asked her if she’d seen something out his window just then. Since she’d been looking down at her phone, she hadn’t seen anything, so she asked what he was talking about.

“He said there was a girl on all fours in a driveway, waving her hand and phone light at us as we drove by,” she said.

In a small, suburban neighborhood like theirs, things are pretty quiet. They might see deer and other wildlife in the area, but nothing out of the ordinary.

She said that the craziest thing to happen in their neighborhood was a car that sped and crashed through the living room of a house at the bottom of a hill several years ago.

After her boyfriend explained what he’d seen, he slowed the car down, and they talked about whether they should turn back or not.

They discussed all the possible scenarios: she could be hurt, or in trouble, she could be trying to flag someone down because someone in her house needs help, or she could even be just in the middle of filming a TikTok video.

Another scary possibility she thought of was that this could all be part of a ploy where someone else would jump out at the driver stopping to help the girl.

Ultimately, she and her boyfriend decided to go back just in case the girl truly did need help.

“Our windows had been down to get some fresh night air, so we rolled them up when we went back. When we went back, she was no longer on the ground and ran up to my window very quickly. The girl looked like she was in pajamas and was in her teens. My boyfriend went, ‘Nope,’ swerved around her, and drove out of the neighborhood as another car was driving in and passed by her,” she explained.

Even though she and her boyfriend were unnerved by the experience, they didn’t have a choice but to turn back around and drive once more past the girl’s house because there wasn’t another way through their neighborhood. This meant that the girl might try talking to them again.

“We drove back, and she was just standing in the middle of her driveway, waving her arms with her phone light again. My boyfriend slowed down with his window down and asked her if everything was all right. She said yes, and started running towards the car again, almost in front of another vehicle driving by,” she continued.

Understandably, the situation made her and her boyfriend nervous, and there wasn’t much that they could do. The girl then told them that she was fine and that she had a phone to call 911 if there was an emergency.

After that, her boyfriend dropped her off at her house. He told her that on his way home, he passed by the girl’s house again, and she wasn’t outside anymore. The reason the girl was out in her driveway trying to flag someone down is still a mystery.

What would you do in this situation?
