“I think it’s been long enough now, and Ceci will need to try and make do because her condition is still not recognized by a lot of people, and thus, the real world will not be able to be nearly as accommodating towards her condition compared to others. With a year to go, we thought we’d tell her now in advance so she could prepare.”
Ceci did not take this news well and is angry with the new plan, thinking she won’t be able to function around the house properly.
She thinks things should stay the way they are until she moves out of the house, but no one knows when exactly that will be.
For now, she and Ray are telling Ceci that she can live in their house rent-free for as long as she needs to, but she will have to put up with hearing her mother’s voice. Since they broke this news to Ceci, she hasn’t been speaking to them.
