This Georgia Teen Fled Her Home Around Midnight In January, Wearing Only Pajamas With No Shoes On, And Her Mom Thinks Someone Has To Be Involved In Her Disappearance

Sidney has since been distributing missing person posters in the community, which state that Hydi vanished after experiencing a “psychotic episode” and she is in “grave danger.”

She also created a GoFundMe, hoping to raise awareness about Hydi’s case while collecting donations to fund search efforts.

“The police are following every lead, but she has not been found, and time is of the essence. In desperation, I hired a private investigator,” Sidney explained.

“Through the generosity of friends, I was able to pay the retainer for the firm’s services, but fees are ongoing as the investigation continues. At this point, I am turning to this kind community to lend aid in bringing my child home. My heart is breaking, and I pray continuously for Hydi’s safe return home.”

The fundraiser has since raised $1,255 and is no longer accepting donations – although there have been no updates posted on the results of the private investigator’s efforts.

At the time of her disappearance, Hydi was five foot one, weighed 130 pounds, and had blonde hair. But, on January 16, the City of Fayetteville Department of Public Safety stated that she may have dyed her hair black following her disappearance.

She was last seen wearing a pair of pajama pants and a sweatshirt and had no shoes on.

If you have any information regarding Hydi’s disappearance or whereabouts, you are urged to contact Detective Lindsey Folger at (770) 460-4243.
