Most couples fight about money, or trust, or the future, but this one is fighting about pee. She’s tried asking her boyfriend nicely not to leave behind a wet toilet seat, and then one day she just decided she was done being the only one bothered by it.

Whenever this girl’s boyfriend uses their bathroom, he leaves pee spots all over their toilet seat. Her boyfriend says he cleans and wipes up after he’s done in there, but when she goes in after him, she still sees drips everywhere.

She’s gotten up to go in the middle of the night and sat down on a wet seat, and it happens throughout the day as well. So she basically can’t rush; she has to take her time, or it’s gross.

Not only that, but their bathroom frequently smells like, you guessed it, pee. She has even come up with some clever solutions to avoid the problem, but her boyfriend hasn’t been interested.

“I’ve talked to him about sitting on the toilet at home; he refuses. I bought him a long funnel for him to use while standing, so it goes straight in; he refuses to use it,” she explained.

“He does not help with the general cleaning either. Today I went to use the bathroom, and it smelled awful. I put the blue stuff all over the bowl, letting it rest for a few minutes, and was going to clean the whole toilet.”

Her boyfriend walked right in as soon as she was done, used the bathroom, and flushed, so the toilet bowl wasn’t being cleaned. She freaked out on her boyfriend and decided to punish him by peeing on the seat and also on the floor by the toilet.

She then warned her boyfriend to watch where he was stepping if he went in there. Her boyfriend walked back into the bathroom to see what she was talking about, and he promptly lost it on her.

He accused her of being disgusting and argued that she did it intentionally, while he doesn’t purposely pee all over the place. Her boyfriend demanded to know if she was going to pick up the mess, and she declined, so he had to do it.

“He just flipped out on me, saying he doesn’t see me the same way anymore. I am not the type to do something like this. I’m generally well composed and not a vengeful type of person, but I’ve just had enough,” she continued.

“I’ve talked to him so many times about this, and how nasty it is, he says that’s just how his pee comes out, and he’ll do better wiping it, but I see pee pretty much daily.”

“Anyway, did I overreact? I feel bad that I did that now, but in the moment, I just wanted him to get a sense of what it feels like for me.”

While her act of petty revenge, or rather her attempt to finally teach her boyfriend a lesson, was gross, it was also warranted. I mean, how many times can you ask nicely before you have to skip ahead to the nuclear option?

Since her boyfriend finally had to clean up pee, maybe this will finally get him to listen and stop making puddles in the bathroom.
