One woman was not only betrayed by her boyfriend—he doubled down and tried to make her look crazy to cover up his cheating. TikToker Hannah (@banana3147) was in a relationship with a man named Mason for six years.

She met him as an active-duty Marine, and since then, they’ve gone through a lot of tough stuff together, including the death of his dad and four deployments.

After coming home from a deployment to Poland, he called Hannah and told her that he had been selected to go to Syria for nine to 12 months. Before he left, he told her to look into some places in the mountains that they could go on vacation to when he returned.

During the first month of his deployment, everything seemed normal. He was seven hours ahead and was communicating regularly at the appropriate times.

Suddenly, two weeks went by, and she hadn’t heard from him. She felt that something wasn’t right, so she took the pictures he sent her and put them into Google. She discovered that he had gotten all those pictures from the internet.

Hannah proceeded to block him and tell his mother. About a week later, she called her and told her that she did not know where her son was. He had mental health issues in the past, so the family was worried about him.

About another week later, Hannah received a call from a man who claimed to be the dad of the woman Mason was having a baby with.

He believed Mason was a narcissist and had been lying and manipulating his daughter. In turn, his daughter has been lying and manipulating everyone else to keep Mason in her life. He listed several reasons why Mason and his daughter were not good people.

Hannah made a post on Facebook and found out that Mason was not the person she thought she knew. Later, the dad informed Hannah that Mason and his daughter had been twisting the whole story.

They were spreading a rumor that Hannah was a stalker, and they concocted the entire deployment scheme to make her look crazy instead of just admitting they were cheating and lying.

In the comments section, many TikTok users warned against dating people in the military because of their own negative experiences with military men.

“My brother is retired military. His wife passed 10 years ago. She never went on deployments either. The stories now I have heard about his relationships while on deployments makes me know never be married to any active duty personnel,” commented one user.

“I’m getting out of a 17-year marriage with a Marine (veteran). They are not for the weak. The narcissism is real, along with the sociopathic tendencies. I’m so sorry,” wrote another.

“22 years married to a manipulating, narcissistic alcoholic US Marine. No side pregnancy, but definitely a similar experience. Divorce was final in October 2023,” added a third.
