At school, kids are expected to learn algebra, survive the awkwardness of gym class, and complain about the cafeteria pizza, not worry about predatory behavior from the adults who are supposed to protect them.
But recently, TikToker Jade (@jadeenglish29) found out that an athletic administrator and special education teacher at the local high school was allegedly sending inappropriate text messages to a female student.
The text messages were turned into the school board. The school board reportedly voted to fire him, but the teachers’ union stepped in to prevent the termination from happening.
The texts date all the way back to 2024. The parents were not aware of the situation until the local news channel reported a story on it. They even posted screenshots of the messages.
In one of the texts, the teacher wrote something along the lines of, “Hey, you’re so beautiful. Meet me in the hallway by the library.”
There was also something about the female student going to Hawaii with him.
Once the story became public, parents in the community, including Jade, were outraged. Jade’s daughter, a freshman in high school, came home to tell her all about the scandal.
Now, Jade feels like she can no longer trust her kids with anyone. Unfortunately, this was not the first time her faith in authority figures had been shaken.
During the pandemic, she sent her other daughter to the local church in their hometown to attend a Christian school. But it turned out that one of the teachers was assaulting a student.

And now, this incident involving a predatory teacher at the high school has come out. Jade is furious that the teacher is allowed to walk around the school campus as if nothing had happened.
“Then, rumor has it…I really can’t see this being true, but my daughter was told at school yesterday by another student that if any of the teachers or anyone were to hear them speaking about this specific situation, they would be suspended,” said Jade. “I would riot if that happened.”
In the comments section, several TikTok users shared similar frustrations and stories of schools failing to properly address misconduct from teachers.
“My son was flicked in the head by his kindergarten teacher, and nothing was done,” stated one user.
“It’s sickening! Happening at so many schools around the U.S.,” commented another.
“Back in high school (1999), a coach slept with a cheerleader girl, and they tried sweeping it under the rug. Parents still found out, and he was fired. But never went to jail,” wrote a third.
Overall, the issue goes beyond just one teacher or one school district. When adults are increasingly crossing boundaries with kids, trust in the entire system begins to erode.
