On the GoFundMe page created to help Andy’s family raise money to hire a private investigator to help search for him, they shared that the remaining money will go to Andy’s 8-year-old daughter that he leaves behind.
“We are utterly heartbroken to share the news that Andy’s body was found on the shore of the Hudson River in Poughkeepsie,” Andy’s family wrote on the page.
“THANK YOU for generously supporting our four-week search effort. Now, in the face of this terrible tragedy, we are increasing our goal to $100,000 to raise additional funds for the benefit of Andy’s eight-year-old daughter, and to help cover his funeral expenses.”
