Teen Found Stabbed To Death In The Woods Behind Her Home After Tweeting Some Sinister Things
Gainesville, Georgia. Hannah Truelove was a teenager who lived in the Lake Lanier Club Apartments in Gainseville, along with her mom.
Hannah and her mom lived in a luxury gated apartment complex that had 2 pools and beautiful views of the nearby lake and mountains.
Hannah was 16-years-old. She attended Gainesville High School. She had a great sense of humor and a good deal of friends. She loved animals. She dreamed of growing up to be a veterinarian after she graduated.
She never got to live her dream, because her life came to a cruel end following a night spent in the company of her friends.

On the night of August 23rd, 2012, Hannah was hanging out on the grounds of her apartment complex along with a few of her friends. This was at approximately 7:30 p.m.
Her mom Mona came home from work and wasn’t initially concerned that Hannah wasn’t there too, because the mail from that day had been brought in so Hannah had been there at some point after school.
By 9:30 that evening, Hannah still hadn’t come back and now Mona really began to panic. Hannah never stayed out late like this. Mona started to call everyone she thought might be with Hannah.
She called her ex-husband and Hannah’s dad, but Hannah was not with him. Hannah also was not with any of the friends that Mona phoned. Finally, Mona knew she had to call the police.

Officers quickly came out to look for Hannah, but torrential downpours soon swept through, and the conditions were too treacherous to continue the search.
The very next day, a man was out walking through the woods behind the apartment complex when he came across the body of a young woman lying in a ravine.
Sadly, Hannah was no longer missing.

Her official cause of death has not been released, as this is still an ongoing investigation, but police have made it known that she died in a dreadful way.
She had been stabbed several times and her body had been covered with water, so a lot of the evidence that may have been on her had been swept away with the rain.
Despite this major setback, there seemed to be a lot left for investigators to look into. They were made aware of a series of tweets that Hannah had recently made that certainly seemed sinister.
“I need to move out of these dang apartments,” Hannah tweeted the day before she vanished.

“So scared right now,” she shared 5 days before her disappearance.

“I got me an ugly*** stalker,” she posted 11 days before she was last seen alive.

Authorities extensively looked into what Hannah had posted on Twitter, before determining that there really was nothing in here that connected back to her murder.
Then, Hannah’s father came forward to say that he was positive someone was threatening Hannah on the bus ride to school and she was scared of this person, though this seemed to be a dead-end as well.
Finally, a witness explained to the police that they had seen a silver car on the night Hannah was murdered. 3 teenage boys were inside the car, and they drove up to Hannah’s apartment complex.
One of the boys was seen walking with Hannah not far from where her body was found.
Unfortunately, police have not been able to identify who these boys were, especially the one who was with Hannah. They have multiple suspects in Hannah’s case, but it’s been difficult to get these people to share any new information.
It seems Hannah did know her killer, but her killer has yet to be made known to us. It’s now been 9 years and Hannah’s murderer is still out there.
