Alex is currently still in a medically induced coma, and his family has no idea what kind of damage has been done to him already.
A neurosurgeon will have to wait until he is taken out of the coma to evaluate the damage done to Alex’s brain.
Although Alex’s family is hopeful that he will be alright, the reality is this little boy will likely need a lot of rehabilitation.
It could be weeks, it could be months, or it could be years that Alex will spend recovering from his injuries.

Unfortunately, the insurance company that Alex’s family has will not cover everything that Alex needs, and so that’s why Michelle has created a GoFundMe page for Alex.
On top of using the money to cover any medical needs and expenses that Alex will require, the money will additionally be used to help make up for the money Alex’s mom will lose out on from taking time off work to be with him.
