Scarily enough, it looks like someone was using this device to try to track Sheridan and where she was going after being out at the restaurant with her friends.

Sheridan went on to say that the Tile she found inside of her purse is not hers, and she made sure it didn’t belong to any of her friends.
As soon as she made the discovery, she took the battery out of the tracking device so it would stop working.
