He only took his daughters into a men’s bathroom once, before he made up his mind that it would also be the last time he did that.
Instead, he decided to take his daughters into bathrooms designated for women, and he went viral after he explained the very thoughtful way he escorts his daughters into them.
To start, Muhammed always first knocks on the front door of the women’s bathroom and lets anyone know that he is a dad that is going to be taking his daughter inside so that they don’t feel uncomfortable.
“Now once inside our stall, I still am aware of the door, and whenever I hear it open and someone new is coming in I announce myself again and make sure they know I’m inside with my child so that they aren’t surprised,” Muhammed continued.
He mentioned that bathrooms designated for women are not only far tidier than men’s bathrooms; they also are laid out in a way that’s easier if you have children with you.
On top of that, changing areas in the women’s bathrooms are pretty much always located in a large-sized stall so you never have to change your child in front of strangers.
It definitely makes the most sense!
