Lena was the deputy who was shot that day, and the woman who shot Lena was later identified as 43-year-old Jessica Worsham.

Sadly, Lena succumbed to her injuries on Monday night. A GoFundMe has been created to help Lena’s family, and you can donate to that here if you would like to.

A funeral procession for Lena has been planned for Monday, November 15th, starting at noon at the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
