She’s had to make it all on her own without any help and without any family members. She is constantly alone and can only rely on herself.
“But then he talks about his sister saying she can’t clean or cook and he has to help her, making her out like this victim,” she said.
“But they have two parents. She has a free life in Manhattan where he supports her and her friends now it seems while she does nothing.”
“It triggered me when he called me like his little sister when he gave me this money pep talk because I have goals and am doing a lot in my life and did it all on my own.”
She wishes that she could be happy for the relationship her boyfriend has with his sister, but she’s not.
She feels that her boyfriend puts all of his attention into his relationship with his little sister at the expense of the relationship she has with him.
She wants her boyfriend to let her come hang out at his apartment, she wants her boyfriend to take her out to dinner, and she wants her boyfriend to actively do things with her.
“Now he is getting a new apartment for himself so his sister can have his. It’s ridiculous this girl gets to live for free in Manhattan and party with no job,” she continued.
She really believes that her boyfriend’s sister is simply taking advantage of him, but she knows she can’t bring this up to her boyfriend.
