“He didn’t explicitly stand up for me when the joke was to try to hurt me,” she continued. “He wasn’t clear about why it was not ok and what to never do again.”
“He’s extremely non-confrontational and is a man of few words so I mostly believe that was what was said, but I still don’t feel good about this POS woman making my worst fears the butt of a joke, then continuing to be his work buddy.”
“I’m limited in what I can actually say or do but I honestly hope she feels the same way about herself someday and some absolute moron like her comes along to ruin her holiday as well.”
She definitely doesn’t want to intervene in a way that causes her husband to have zero friends at work or jeopardizes his job, but there’s no way she’s ever going to be nice to his employee ever again in her life.
She’s left wondering what to do and how she can go about moving on from this while not feeling so wound up and upset.
