Sometimes, he won’t eat for several days so he can have the money to pay for transportation. Although he does work, a lot of unforeseen things have set him back financially.
He also has other things he really needs to buy like a new laptop before he can think of paying for a baby.
“I gave up on my social life already so I can have time for college, work, and a girlfriend,” he continued.
“I literally don’t have friends whereas a year ago I spent all my time in the city with all sorts of friend groups.”
He does not regret this, but if he doesn’t have time for friends, he has no idea how he will have time for a baby.
His girlfriend is so obsessed with having a baby though that she brings this up to him nearly every other day; sometimes more than that.
Nothing he says will change his girlfriend’s mind about holding off to have a baby, and he’s tried everything to get her to wait.
Ideally, he doesn’t want to have children for another decade, but he tried to compromise with his girlfriend and say that in 5 years they can start trying, but she’s not ok with that.
He’s also upset with the fact that his girlfriend’s friends and family members are saying she should have a baby because it’s so wonderful, but all these people are 30-years-old or more, not the same age as his girlfriend.
“I look at our parents who had me when my mom was 19, and her mom who had her at 18,” he concluded.
