Her daughter wound up leaving to go stay with her dad and is currently not going to come back home unless she gives her permission to work at the funeral home.
Additionally, her daughter’s dad fully supports her interest, and he isn’t siding with her on this one at all.
“I just don’t think it’s a good idea and I don’t want her doing it, and it’s not a typical first job and may look weird on resumes and college applications,” she said.
“She and her father both think I’m being a jerk and say I have an “outdated” way of thinking.”
