“I fear as if something bad will happen to him during the event. But, at the same time, I know the girl would be heartbroken if we decided to keep him home.”
“I’m also worried that this might be nothing more than a publicity stunt, so I asked her why she’s choosing to take him over someone from her school.”
This girl reassured her that she wants to take her son to prom as she believes in helping people.
This girl also said she will take wonderful care of her son for the evening, and she will pick him up in her car, take him out to dinner, and then take him to prom with her.
Although she doesn’t want to let her son go, her husband thinks it’s a great idea and a good experience for him.
“…I have some bad, bad gut feelings,” she continued. “I really want him to go, but I’m not sure if it’s safe because of his autism and naive tendencies.”
