“My boyfriend is a gentleman so he’s never looked down on my upbringing or hometown or made me feel like I have to spend a bunch of money to have a good time.”
“But I feel so out of place in his world. It’s not his fault and he doesn’t do anything intentionally to make me feel this way; when he does splurge he says “You’re my baby, you deserve the best.” and I try to relax but I’m so intimidated.”
She knows it’s completely on her that she feels the way he does since he’s never done anything to make her feel bad.
She frequently finds herself thinking that she doesn’t deserve to be wearing nice things or going nice places though.
How can she figure out a way to feel comfortable and fit into his wealthy ways?
