Those are more minor issues compared to the major one at hand; prom is coming up, and she already agreed to go with her boyfriend.
“…I just feel bad to end it right before when we’ve made plans,” she said, fully aware that it wasn’t right of her to agree to go to prom with him in the first place when she knew she wasn’t feeling this relationship.
“I’m scared of hurting him. I know it’s going to hurt and he has every right to feel any way he does.”
She admits that she did lead her boyfriend on, and she’s struggling with wasting “more of his time” so that’s why she’s trying to figure out when to rip the bandaid off.
Do you think she should dump him before prom, or stick it out a bit longer so as to not ruin that night for him?
