“I’m not going to waste any more years of my life being second best to a woman he hasn’t even met yet,” she said.
“The idea of not being with him anymore is really painful…I have spent so long waking up beside him and just having him there.”
“All the most important moments of my life, he’s been there to celebrate with me. He says I just need some time, we can go to couple’s counseling, and he knows how stupid he’s been and he wants to marry me and make it up to me.”
A piece of her thinks that counseling could be great for them and their relationship, but then she’s wondering if she should stop wasting her life with this guy who clearly can’t commit.
It’s also pretty ridiculous that he expects a better woman to come along.
