Her boyfriend said that she could just put the wig on to take photos and then remove it, though she hated that suggestion since she can’t just stick it in her bag or something like that when she’s done wearing it.
One of her close friends then brought up that maybe they could all show up to prom in colorful, over-the-top wigs to show their support of her, but that made her super upset.
She knows her friends “mean well” but it doesn’t change how bad she feels about the situation.
“Should I just suck it up?” she wondered. “Am I being dramatic?”
