Her Fiancé Completely Lied To Her Face About Racking Up $15,000 Of Credit Card Debt In Under A Year

As they discussed how much they had to spend on those finishing touches, she noticed the money her fiancé claimed that they had left to spend was far beneath what he originally told her.

She asked him what was going on, and he quickly got mad at her before trying to deflect and say he wasn’t sure what she meant since it was always “the same” amount of money.

That was the end of that conversation, and later that evening, her fiancé told her the truth, and it was pretty ugly. Apparently, he really was in debt, yet he had lied right to her face about it.

“He came clean and told me he had racked up 15k in credit card debt and he used the refinance money to pay it off,” she said.

“He said he’s racked up that debt since July of 2021 and I still can’t wrap my head around what he spent the money on.”

“Yes we go on vacations and go out to dinner often (although it’s never anything very excessive) and I always pay my half for the trips we go on and I pay for a fair amount of meals.”

She makes the same exact salary that he does, and she always pays for half of the vacations they go on.

Her fiancé tried to guilt-trip her by insisting he spent that $15,000 to keep her “happy” which she finds confusing.

She has no clue where all of this money even went, and this is not the first time her fiancé has lied to her about acquiring debt on his credit cards.

3 years ago, he spent $10,000 on a credit card he opened in her name since his credit was too bad to get his own.

“I feel like I should leave, but it’s so hard to even begin to think about separating my life from his,” she continued.
