She Used Most Of Her Savings To Pay For Her Sister’s $1,000 Prom Dress But Then Her Sister Didn’t Even Wear That To Prom

On top of that, she can’t afford a lot, yet her sister has high-end taste in general and won’t compromise.

Her sister also had a laundry list of everything she didn’t want in a prom dress, such as it couldn’t be black, navy, purple, yellow, green, grey, white, or any color darker than the sky.

Her sister wouldn’t wear a dress that featured an a-line, or one with a v-neck, plunging neckline, or backless details.

Her sister also hates glam styles and anything that has mesh on it. Her sister really only likes ballgown styles, though mermaid sometimes is ok with her.

As you can see, picking out prom dress number two was going to be a problem, yet she was confident she could find something at their local mall for around $500 to $600.

She was right, there was a nice selection, and surprisingly, many of the dresses were around the $200 mark, so she was thrilled that her sister had a lot to pick from.

“She fell in love with this dress that looked like it could’ve been for a wedding,” she explained. “She tried it on and was so happy in it.”

Well, this dress didn’t have a price on it, and one of the consultants came back letting her know it was actually $1,000.

She refused to spend that much on a dress, and her sister put it back before trying on some other dresses.

Then, her sister burst into tears, insisting she could not find another dress that was like that one and she would prefer to not go to prom at all.

She started crying too as the consultant did their best to calm her down. They were still in the store 2 hours after it had officially closed, and all the consultants had to then leave.
