She Was Found Dead In Her Submerged Car, But It Isn’t Clear How She Died Or How She Got There

Mobile, Alabama. It was July 17th, 2018, and 25-year-old Danniella Vian bought herself a new car that day before heading out to meet some of her friends to hang out at a local bar.
Well, technically only one of those friends was someone that Danniella was close to and knew well. The rest of the people that she hung out with that night were friends of this friend and not well known to Danniella.
At the bar, Danniella and her companions had a couple of drinks, and then they decided to leave and go to another place.
In the middle of driving to the next destination, Danniella and some of her acquaintances stopped by a local gas station to try to see if Danniella’s phone got lost in her car.
One of the guys that Danniella was with was trying to find her phone in the car, and during his search, he kept trying to call her phone through Facebook since he did not actually have Danniella’s number.
In the process of calling Danniella’s phone, he left multiple voice messages that then got sent to Dannella in a message thread on the social media app.
Britney Irvin, one of Danniella’s best friends, was able to get her hands on these voice recordings, which she later listened to and broke down in a Facebook post.
Britney said that you can hear Danniella is with this guy and another unknown girl at the gas station, and it’s easy for Britney to tell on the voice recordings that Danniella had far too much to drink.

In the voice recordings, you can also hear what sounds like this guy buckling Danniella’s seatbelt, and her telling him, “You’re trying way too hard.”
Also, it seems on the voice recordings that Danniella starts throwing up and making gagging and then gurgling noises.
The guy that Danniella was with seemingly did not allow her to drive, so Britney pertinently asked, who was behind the wheel of Danniella’s car?
Danniella then disappeared for close to a year, and none of her loved ones could get a hold of her at all.
On May 2nd, 2019, in a bayou called Bayou Sara, Danniella’s remains were found submerged in the Chevy Cruz she had bought for herself the day she went missing.
There are a lot of suspicious details surrounding Danniella’s death. For one thing, the Mobile Police Department announced in a press release that the cause of Danniella’s death was “undetermined” and that the scene where Danniella’s car was found was “consistent with that of an accident” yet they were continuing to investigate her death.
It’s also worth mentioning that Danniella’s car had been put into park before being found in the water, and authorities suspect Danniella could have panicked and put her car into park as she entered the bayou.
Additionally, Danniella was seated in the driver’s side seat, yet she didn’t have her seatbelt buckled. Her doors had been locked, and the window on the side of the car behind where she was had not been rolled up, leaving a few inches of space.

Finally, her keys were sitting in the ignition of her car, but her car was off.
Britney doesn’t think that what happened to Danniella is an accident at all. “My opinion is, it was not an accident,” Britney said.
Britney pointed out that many locals think Danniella drove off the road and into the bayou before getting trapped in her car.
“But, someone took a video of the way to the boat ramp that she supposedly “drove off” of accidentally,” Britney continued.
“That road is super curvy and tucked away within a residential area, as you probably know. I just don’t see it being possible that she was sooo intoxicated that she drove in accidentally.”
“If that was the case if she was soo intoxicated and that’s the reason she went into water – how in the world did she not crash before getting there?”
“She drove like 20 minutes away from where she was meant to be. Stopped and then continued driving another 15 ish mins the opposite direction of where she should of been going, all the way down that crazy curvy road and into the water.”
It’s now been 3 years since Danniella and her car were found, but sadly her loved ones have a lot more questions than they do answers in regards to what happened to her.
