She doesn’t feel comfortable with what this guy is doing at all, but those closest to her are seriously pressuring her into a first date with this guy.
“I think they are looking like “omg flowers and omg chocolate covered strawberries this is so sweet.” But not really taking my safety into consideration or the fact that I have only seen this guy once,” she explained.
She’s extremely hesitant to say yes to a date, yet all of her coworkers and loved ones are insisting that she should go out with him despite her reservations about it.
“I feel uncomfortable because I don’t know this guy,” she added. “And this is where I work. And it feels like pressure to go out. I’m more into getting to know someone before accepting gifts.”
“I thought we were all taught don’t take gifts from strangers? My gut feeling though is this is off…and my gut is usually right…it’s just too much too soon. I haven’t even had a conversation with the guy really.”
