He really did like the idea of getting his daughter’s name as a tattoo with his ex, though he decided to ask his current girlfriend if she would be alright with him doing this.
“I told my girlfriend about it and she was absolutely not having it whatsoever,” he said. “She told me that relationship was over and that I need to grow up and forget the past (mind you, we’re the same age).”
“She told me if I do it she will have no reason to be with me and that it’ll show what kind of person I am.”
He’s left feeling confused by his girlfriend’s reaction, as he did point out to her that he and his ex will be getting a tattoo that is simply the name of their daughter.
The tattoo isn’t about his ex, it’s about the daughter that they both lost, so he’s not sure what his girlfriend’s problem is.
He really isn’t sure where to go from here. Should he just get the tattoo anyway, even if his girlfriend despises the idea?
