This entire conversation led his wife to the conclusion that she also wants to have cosmetic surgery done, though she won’t tell him what the name of the procedure is.
All he knows is that his wife wants to completely change the shape of her face and go with a more conventionally attractive look.
“I was against the idea and expressed that she was beautiful,” he said. “She said, in reality, she knows she is average, and since she has the money why not.”
“I asked if it had anything to do with her stepmom and she got mad at me but said her sister was right and it is just awkward being around her.”
He’s pretty convinced his wife is only doing this because of her stepmom, and he doesn’t support her decision.
Cosmetic surgery as a whole is just not something he finds acceptable, though he understands he can’t convince his wife to not go through with it. He can refuse to help her recover from the surgery, and he has told his wife that.
“We have two young kids who will need me, and I feel like I would be compromising my principles and going along with something I find unhealthy,” he continued.
His wife called him a terrible name for not wanting to support her in the recovery process once she gets her surgery done, and his wife believes it’s something he is required to help her with.
