Right When She Started Dating Her Boyfriend, He Slept With A Girl That He Swore Was More Like His Sister And This Is Still Bothering Her

“I was emotionless about it at the time, it hurt but I didn’t show it,” she said. “I told him I forgive him, since we were not officially official at the time I supposed that it was not considered cheating, and I would still date him if he would like to.”

Her boyfriend breathed a sigh of relief, but hours after she gave him a pass, she realized just how upset she really was.

She went home and cried that evening, and she kept crying multiple times throughout the weeks that followed her boyfriend’s confession.

“I later found out that they were friends with benefits and had been sleeping together for a long time but he stopped when he met me up until then,” she continued.

“Even now I still get “emotion flashbacks” that make me feel the same way I did that night and I start crying again.”

Her boyfriend quickly moved out of the house he was living in after sleeping with the other girl, and he did say sorry to her extensively.

It has been 5 months since she and her boyfriend did become official, yet she can’t shake the sadness that frequently comes over her when she thinks back to him sleeping with someone else.

She has said something to her boyfriend about it when it first started happening, but she quit bringing it up as it makes her feel ashamed to be holding onto this.

Do you think she should sit down and talk about this again with her boyfriend, or is there a way for her to move on and put this all behind her?
