All she said to her sister was that she had to break things off with Grant before he found out about the cheating on his own and that Grant hardly deserved this kind of treatment since he had been so wonderful all along.
So, her sister did dump Grant, and her sister is currently dating Nick, who is the man she cheated on Grant with.
Nick also happens to be Grant’s old high school friend, and Nick knew her sister was in a committed relationship when they started getting together.
Grant’s heart was completely broken when her sister ended things, and he was so in love with her sister.
She really did like Grant beyond what he did for her sister and her family, and she considered Grant to be like her brother and best friend, though he has cut off contact with her and everyone else in their family after her sister dumped him.
Her sister moved on really quickly, and less than one week after her sister dumped Grant, she officially started seeing Nick.
“I’ve heard about Nick and my sister swoons over him like he’s something shiny,” she continued. “I’ve heard things about him, he knows some of my friends.”
“From what I’ve heard, he’s not great news. Generally disrespectful to the women in his life and even has a kid he never sees or cares about. Just not a great guy, especially compared to Grant.”
Now, her sister expects her to come out to dinner with her, Nick, and the rest of their family, and she’s refusing to do this.
She can’t get behind her sister’s new relationship considering how it started, and she didn’t hide all of her feelings from her sister.
Her sister and also her mom believes she’s a jerk for refusing to go to dinner with Nick, but her dad agrees with her.
