Not too long ago they decided to go to the beach together and when he saw her in a swimsuit, he knew he could not keep doing this.
He was humiliated, as he knew people were staring at the two of them. Anything he had felt for her died on that beach, and after she said to him that she was feeling so about herself that she didn’t want to lose any more weight, he resolved to end things.
So, that’s exactly what he did. He broke up with her, and he was honest about why he could no longer see her.
“I feel bad because she thinks I lead her on and she’s hurt,” he said.
“Why does it feel shallow but also justifiable to need to have physical and mental attraction?”
