Her Boyfriend Keeps Trying To Make It Seem Like The Things She Purchases For Herself Are Things He Bought For Her

One instance where this happened? Her boyfriend got them a ski vacation, and even though she did pay for exactly half of their trip, he swears he paid for the entire thing.

Another instance is when she bought a video game for herself, and her boyfriend said that he remembered being the one who purchased it for her.

“It seems like his materialism is extreme and he bases too much worth on physical possessions,” she said.

“To the point where he’s convincing himself he’s buying me things that I bought myself.”

She’s honestly at a loss as to how she can bring this up to him. Do you think there’s a good way for her to do this?
