She told her husband that choosing to cook in this heat was only going to make it even worse in their own home, and she wondered why he decided to cook.
She also pointed out to her husband that they had a lot of choices for food, and cooking didn’t have to be on the table.
Her husband accused her of being ungrateful and unappreciative of his hard work in preparing food for her.
She wasn’t about to thank him for making it even more sweltering in their house, and she let her husband know that she never even wanted nor asked him to make food.
“I said was sorry, but I wouldn’t be eating it, and asked him to consider whether adding a few degrees to the house was worth it,” she said.
“He said he was going to work, so it didn’t matter to him, he’s now left, and I’m doing what I can to air the place out as we have 3 cats, and they are obviously struggling.”
“Not to mention I’m melting.”
She’s curious if it was wrong of her not to be appreciative of her husband cooking for her when it contributed to making their house hotter than it had to be.
