And ever since her grandparents found out that her parents asked to take her inheritance too, they have been furious.
Still, though, her sisters have taken her parents’ side– who are now throwing all of the costs of raising her in her face.
Basically, they said that since she is “functioning” now, she “owes them”– and she is sick and tired of it.
“I kind of just want to block my whole family except for my grandparents. But now, even my friends are kind of leaning into what my parents are saying. One even suggested that I was spoiled and that I should at least give them the twelve thousand dollars left over, to be fair,” she vented.
Nonetheless, she has refused to hand over the inheritance. And now, she is not sure if she made a wrong decision that will jeopardize her relationship with her parents and possibly her friends.
