“She is more than welcome to meet us out later. But I didn’t want to deal with her at my bar,” he said.
Still, Zoe’s friends in the group thought that move was utterly unfair. And they even showed up at his bar this past weekend to confront him about it.
The friends claimed it was rude to isolate Zoe, especially since their whole friend group hangs out at his bar. So, he was essentially “banning” her from the entire group.
Nonetheless, he did not really care. He said that the group was free to pick a different bar to frequent where they could invite anyone they wanted. But, he did not want Zoe to be “weird” and “causing issues” at his bar.
His guy friends apparently completely understand his perspective and have sided with him. The girls, though, are still totally against the ban.
So now, he is not sure if basically kicking Zoe out of the friend group was a really jerky thing to do.
Do you think what he did was right? What would you do if you were Zoe?
