Her Nephew Vandalized Her Car, But She Thinks The Punishment He Got For Doing This Was Way Too Harsh

“I asked them if my nephew knows about this, and they laughed and said no,” she explained. “I asked them if the little sister will be returning it or if he’s never getting that skateboard again, and my brother was all like “depends“ before he and his wife started giggling again.”

“Apparently, SIL’s sister is very prone to destroying things and is also very possessive of things. What they were telling me is that my nephew isn’t getting it back.”

“I was a little upset. IDK if they expected me to be happy, but my nephew customized that skateboard himself and is very proud of it. Sure he messed up really bad, and I’m still pretty angry, but I do agree with my nephew. What they’re doing with the skateboard is overkill.”

She confronted her sister-in-law about that, and her sister-in-law got offended before pointing out that the skateboard was part of the punishment for what he did to her car.

She replied to her sister-in-law that they had already punished her nephew enough, and her sister-in-law wasn’t happy with that.

Her brother didn’t say a word while she argued with her sister-in-law, and then they both got up and left. Her sister-in-law believes she’s being ungrateful, but she thinks her sister-in-law and brother are being way too harsh on her nephew.

Do you agree with her, or do you see things from her sister-in-law’s point of view?
