But that all changed when her boyfriend walked into her life.
“I never went out and missed out on so many opportunities that my other friends did,” she said. “But with him, he covered my rent, paid groceries, and took me on my first holiday (I grew up extremely poor), but the most important thing is that I could focus on my studies.”
“I have been dating him for a year now, and I just found out that his wife is pregnant. My moral compass is taken a hold on me, and now I don’t know what to do.”
“We don’t talk about his wife, but I know he won’t leave her, and I know he won’t break up with me as long as I don’t bring it up.”
She admitted that she’s a terrible person for remaining in a relationship with her boyfriend, knowing that he’s married, but she needs him financially and emotionally as well.
