Dylan Mulvaney Speaks Out About Caitlyn Jenner’s Hypocrisy After The Celeb Misgendered Her And Tore Her Down As A Trans Woman On Twitter

In true Mulvaney manner, though, she was respectful and insightful and delivered her response with a smile on her face.

“Hi, Caitlyn, I’m Dylan, and we are two of the most privileged trans women in America at the moment, and with that comes a lot of responsibility,” Dylan began in the video.

She went on to point out how although she and Caitlyn have very different views on most things, she probably would have been willing to sit down with Caitlyn and connect with her prior to the statements online.

“Because I have a lot of respect for you as a fellow trans woman. But then you decided to ridicule me very publicly,” Dylan went on.

She detailed how she was most outraged about Caitlyn’s misgendering at first and then was even more hurt by Caitlyn’s follow-up tweet claiming that there was “a difference between acceptance and tolerance and normalizing exposing your genitals in a public way.”

“Girl, you’re making me sound like I’m some creepy flasher exposing myself! I was wearing perfectly normal shorts at the mall,” Dylan pointed out.

Afterward, she also revealed how two trans women had gifted her special underwear designed for tucking and educated her on how to use the undergarments since they realized she was struggling.

“And I’m just curious if you can think back to your early days of transitioning and being embarrassed about your body or having strangers give you dirty looks. That’s why I made that video– because I was embarrassed, and I wanted to reclaim my body in a positive way. And now you’ve taken that, and you’ve turned it into something really ugly.”

Dylan then opened up about how she had cheered on Caitlyn from afar immediately after the star came out.

She also detailed how she is happy Caitlyn was able to get any surgeries she wanted. But for Dylan, the process is still underway.

“I am twenty-five years old, and I am on day two hundred and thirty-three. I can’t even get bottom surgery right now if I wanted to– I haven’t been on hormones long enough. I’m not as far along as you. Please be patient,” she pointed out.
