He ended up giving Bianca a lift back to her place, and although she tried to pay him for gas, he declined to let her do this.
He let Bianca know that “it was the least” he could do for her driving her home, and she offered to buy him a coffee or do something else to pay him back.
When Bianca got out of his car, he then made his way over to dinner with Julie and her mom.
“Dinner was good, but after Julie asked what happened,” he said. “I told her, and she was really upset. She said she thought it was weird and was annoyed that I’d blown her off for my ex-girlfriend.”
“I told her she was being ridiculous; I was just being nice, but she started crying, and she stormed off. IDK what to do. I feel like she’s overreacting. What do I do? Do I apologize?”
