Not only is lying about his age strange, but she points out that there doesn’t even seem to be a reason for him to lie in the first place.
“My age range on Hinge does go 10 years older. I don’t mind older men, so there is no need to lie,” she explained.
Then, she expanded on the idea that if he was willing to lie about his age, chances are that he would lie about other parts of his life, too. She wondered if he was lying about whether or not he was looking for a life partner and said that it’s possible he doesn’t have respect for any of the people he matches with on Hinge.
After that, she pondered whether or not she was being too hard on him and said that it was possible he lied about his age because he didn’t want to date someone his own age.
In the end, he sent her a message, but she hadn’t opened it yet. She said that this situation has, unfortunately, made her lose faith in online dating.
Do you think she was judging him too harshly for possibly lying about his age?
