If some of these things apply to you, know that it’ll be alright, and you won’t be stuck in the same cycle forever.
Prioritize time to yourself, and don’t spend that alone time doing nothing. Be productive by caring for yourself, your career, family relationships, and friendships.
Then, when you can finally find some comfort in being alone, you can search for someone you genuinely bond and feel safe with, someone who isn’t only around for convenience or because you’re scared to lose them.
It’s a healing process that takes time, and if you need someone to further guide you along your journey, there are so many counselors and professionals who can help you. You’re not alone in this fight!
