She Went On A Date With A Guy Who Told Her All Sorts of Lies In An Attempt To Steal Her Money

TikToker Kiala (@auntie_kiala) went on a date with a guy who told her all sorts of lies in an attempt to steal her money.
So, a guy she knew back in school reached out to her a few months after she graduated, confessing to having had a crush on her the whole time. However, they had never spoken once throughout their four years in school.
They chatted for a bit, and then he asked her if she wanted to go on a lunch date and catch up. She agreed and inquired about where they were going because she didn’t want to show up over or underdressed. He responded back, saying they were going to a popular chain restaurant.
Thirty minutes before their lunch date, she received a text from him saying he had a question. He followed up that message by asking if she could pick him up.
She called him, and he explained that his ride had mixed up the time he was supposed to be leaving for his date, so he didn’t have a way to get to the restaurant.
At that point, Kiala was contemplating whether she even wanted to go on this date at all, but after talking about it with her sister, her sister convinced her to show the guy some grace.
So, Kiala drove over to his place to pick him up. When she arrived, a little girl in the driveway rushed up to her car to try to open the door.
As he was getting into her car, Kiala asked him who the toddler was, and he told her that the child was his niece.
He yelled for the child’s mother to come outside to retrieve the little girl. When the mother came outside, he briefly introduced the two women to each other.

Then, Kiala headed to the restaurant. Since it was lunchtime, the restaurant was packed. He typed an address into his phone and directed her to another place instead, informing her that it had the same kind of vibe as the first spot.
When she pulled up to the parking lot, there were two restaurants situated next to each other. She tried to subtly hint that she wanted to go to the place on the right, but he shot her down, declaring that they would be eating at the restaurant on the left, which was another popular chain restaurant.
So, they sat down at a table, and Kiala started perusing the menu. But apparently, she was looking at the wrong menu because the guy handed her the two-for-$20 menu instead.
While they were eating, she experienced one of the worst conversations of her life. During the meal, he confidently stated that if a woman was not putting out by the third date, she should expect to pay for her own food.
Kiala ended up paying for both of their meals so that he would never have the opportunity to ask her out again.
Not even two hours after returning home from the date, she received a call from her bank about some fraudulent activity on her account.
Her bank informed her that there were four erroneous charges on her account.
The first charge was from the restaurant they had dine at, which she recognized. But the second charge was for $456 to AT&T. Kiala’s phone provider was Verizon.
The third charge was $60 for Uber. Kiala had never paid for an Uber in her life. And finally, the fourth charge was a $200 tip to Uber.
As you may have assumed, the guy that Kiala went out with was behind the fraud. It turned out that the ride that had supposedly fallen through was someone he knew who drove for Uber.
He tipped an exorbitant amount of money to that person so they could split it with each other. Kiala found out about his scam via social media, which was also where she discovered that his niece was actually his daughter.
The woman who had come outside of the house was his daughter’s mother, and he had told her that Kiala was a relative of his who was driving him to a restaurant to fill out a job application.
