One young mother celebrated her son’s first birthday party in 1992 and went missing after the celebrations were over. Tragically, no one has seen her since.

Brenda Lambert was 22-years-old when she went missing from her home in a small town called Bluewell, West Virginia. Brenda was known by friends and family for being a fun and outgoing woman who wasn’t afraid of adventure.

When she was a teenager, Brenda met her husband, Raymond. Together, they had a daughter named Krista before getting married in 1986. Brenda was a stay-at-home mom and gave birth to their second child, a boy, in 1991.

Brenda and Raymond allegedly had a rocky marriage leading up to her disappearance.

At the start of 1992, Brenda and Raymond separated, and he went to live with his family. Brenda had a scheduled appointment with a divorce attorney for July 30th, 1992, but never showed up.

On July 22nd, 1992, she hosted a first birthday party for her son, where friends and family were in attendance, including Raymond. Allegedly, Brenda’s cousin Tammy showed up at the party, which stressed out Brenda, as Tammy was Raymond’s mistress.

When the celebration ended around 8:00 p.m., Raymond took him and Brenda’s children home while Brenda stayed at her house to clean up. Her last guests remember leaving her home around 9:00 p.m. As it turned out, that was the time anyone would see her.

The following afternoon, when Brenda’s family went to check on her and Raymond to return the kids, they noticed Brenda’s car was in the driveway, and her belongings were home, but she was gone.

While Raymond was immediately a suspect after the police got involved in Brenda’s disappearance, no evidence pointed to him being involved. Not long after Brenda disappeared, Raymond and Tammy moved in together, but Tammy was also removed as a suspect in her case.
