It’s hard to believe that the first month of fall has already come to an end. It feels like just yesterday that I was wishing the summer wouldn’t end!

Autumn is here, and we’re already losing time to squeeze in some of our favorite fall activities. Many online creators have been sharing their ‘2023 Fall Bucket Lists’ to show viewers what fall fun they have planned for this year.

Ideas for a fall bucket list range from something as simple as a fall movie night to a trip to a pumpkin patch, so here are a variety of fall activities you can put on your bucket list!

Bake or buy a tasty fall treat.

Fall is the season of all things cinnamon, sugar, and spice. At least once during the season, you should treat yourself to your favorite fall dessert. Take some time out of your evening to bake yourself and your loved ones apple muffins, pumpkin bread, sweet potato pie, etc.

Or, if you’re not a big fan of baking or feel like you don’t have time to do it, just go out and buy yourself your favorite fall treat! Doing this will certainly get you in the spirit.

Drink some apple cider.

Like fall desserts, I feel like I have to have at least one sip of apple cider in the fall. Feel free to omit this idea if you’re not a fan, but if you are, squeeze it in! Buy some from a nearby orchard or farmer’s market, or just get it from the grocery store. You can also get inventive with the cider and make some tasty cocktails like an apple cider mimosa or hot toddy! Yum!

Have a fall-themed movie night.

Fall is a great time to enjoy indoor activities, like a movie night at home! Grab some popcorn and your favorite blanket, and throw on your favorite autumnal movie, whether it be a rom-com like “When Harry Met Sally” or a horror movie for the spooky season like “Halloween.”

This is a great activity to have on your bucket list, as you can enjoy this activity alone or with a group!

Put up some fall decor.

If you work remotely or spend a lot of time at home, jazzing up your space with some fall-themed decor is a great way to lift your mood and embrace the season.

You don’t have to blow a bunch of money on fancy decorations or decorate your home like an expert. You can simply pick up a few cute things from the dollar store, light a few fall-scented candles, and there you go!

Go to a pumpkin patch.

If you live in an area that doesn’t get much foliage and struggle to get in the fall mood, a pumpkin patch is sure to help. You don’t have to take home a massive pumpkin; you can just wander around and enjoy the festivities!

Look for a pumpkin patch that has the works – a petting zoo, a farm store, good food, a hayride, a corn maze, etc. and plan a fun day out with friends.

Go out for Halloween

Halloween isn’t just for kids who like to trick-or-treat or college students who want to go crazy. Halloween can be fun for adults, too!

Whether you put on a costume and head to a costume party or simply go to a local bar to watch everyone else in costume, doing something festive for Halloween can please your inner child and be a lot of fun.

Get a fall-themed manicure.

This is a great thing to have on your fall bucket list as it involves a little self-care. If you’re looking for an excuse to get your nails done and sport a great autumnal color, get a manicure! You can even take things to the next level and ask for a fall design on your nails.

Fall is a time for coziness, relaxation, and quality time with loved ones. As long as you embrace it, you’re bound to have some fun. Enjoy!
