In 2010, when TikToker @kneadedkraft was 18 years old, she moved in with her grandmother. After living there for a couple of weeks, she started to get the sense that someone was watching her.

About a month and a half later, her grandmother told her that it was her grandfather’s birthday. She was confused because there was no birthday cake, and it seemed like any other ordinary day.

Nevertheless, she walked up to her grandpa and wished him a happy birthday. He gruffly told her that it wasn’t his birthday and walked away.

That’s when she realized that it must be her biological grandfather’s birthday. He had died in a tragic car accident on the way home from work when her mom was only 12 years old.

That night, @kneadedkraft went to bed. All of a sudden, she felt a pressure on her chest. There was also an old TV in the room that wasn’t plugged in or hooked up to anything, but the buttons were being pushed repeatedly. The next thing she knew, something yanked her blanket off the bed.

“I’m terrified; I cannot move; I’m frozen,” said @kneadedkraft. “It took me forever to fall asleep. I barely slept that night, though. It was traumatizing. This happened around like November. He’s a Scorpio.”

Fast forward to February, and her alarm clock broke, so she had to use her flip phone as an alarm clock. The next morning, it went off. When she rolled over to turn it off, she realized there was a man sitting on her bed.

“He is not transparent,” said @kneadedkraft. “He is fully there, and he is staring at me. His hair is slicked back. He’s got a collared shirt on.”

“His legs are up on this table that’s like the same height as my bed. I can see his pants are cuffed. He’s got black boots on. He looks like he’s from the 1960s, like he’s not supposed to be here. He’s not from this time period.”

As she stared into his eyes, they seemed rather familiar, like her uncle’s. She screamed, put her head down, and lifted it back up to see if he was gone.

He was still there, staring at her, so she knew it wasn’t a dream. Then, he began to disappear, his image bursting like popped bubbles, starting from his face and head all the way down to his body.

It finally dawned on her that the man was her grandpa. She ran into her grandmother’s room and excitedly told her that she had seen her grandpa’s ghost. After that, she had to go to school and act like everything was normal.

When she got home from school, she tried to press her grandmother further about the ghostly sighting. Her grandma told her that she had seen lots of things, but she chose not to acknowledge them because they weren’t supposed to be there.

She told @kneadedkraft that one time, she was cooking in the kitchen when she saw dark shadows walk through the house in the middle of a bright, sunny day.

She realized that the shadows were of the family who used to live in the house. They had died in a fatal car accident. The husband survived and couldn’t bear to stay in the house, so he sold it.

Over time, @kneadedkraft had other experiences, too. For instance, she has heard stomping and water turning off and on when no one else was home. It’s safe to say that her grandmother’s house is definitely haunted.
