She Finally Told Her Best Friend She’s Done Splitting The Check With Her, As She Always Orders Way Less

When Vanessa realized that she was really only paying for her food, she was shocked! Since they always split the bill, Vanessa thought that she was just joking around when she said she wanted to do something different.

Then, Vanessa went on to explain that she wouldn’t have ordered so much food if she had known that they weren’t actually going to split the check.

“I told her that I was just sick and tired of paying when I only ordered a small percentage. Like I’m paying at least $50-$100 more than I should every time,” she said.

At this point, Vanessa started to get upset with her and accused her of pulling this stunt intentionally on the day of Vanessa’s promotion.

Clearly angry with her, Vanessa paid for her food and stormed out the door of the restaurant. Vanessa had picked her up and driven her to the restaurant, but now she had to pay $36 for an Uber to get home.

The following morning, she was flooded with messages from her friends about how rude she was to Vanessa and how they couldn’t believe she was such a cheapskate.

“I just don’t want to overpay so much. It’s fine if it’s $10-$20 more than what I ordered, but over $50?? That amount can go towards necessities and bills,” she stated.

Do you think it was rude of her to decide against splitting the check with Vanessa? Or do you think she should have continued with their usual agreement on the day of Vanessa’s promotion?
