Thankfully, a hack on TikTok has shown viewers how to not only store their tall boots in a way that will maintain their shape but also keep them from flopping all over their closets.
Lifestyle TikTok content creator Destiny Lexi (@therealsweettreat) recently showed her followers how to store tall boots using wire hangers.

If you have a bunch of wire hangers sitting around your house that you don’t use, you should start using them for your tall boots. Here’s what to do!

Take a wire hanger and bend the bottom portion down until the hanger is shaped more like a diamond.
Then, turn the hanger upside down and insert it into one of your tall boots with the handle going in first. Finally, position the hanger so that it supports the tall part of your boots, making them stand upright and keep their shape!
Repeat this process with your other boot using another hanger, and your shoes are closet-ready.
How easy is that?
If you don’t have any wire hangers lying around or don’t want to purchase any, you can use other tools like shoe trees, boot boxes, or rolled-up newspapers and magazines. However, this wire hanger hack is pretty cool and will keep your tall boots standing proudly instead of slouching over and getting ruined in your closet.
