She Broke Up With Her Boyfriend And Cut Contact With Her Mom After She Caught Them Sleeping Together
This 18-year-old girl was previously dating her ex-boyfriend, who is also 18. But, her entire relationship came crashing down after her mother, who is 42, stabbed her in the back.
For some context, she and her ex-boyfriend first met when they were 13-years-old, and after that, they were best friends for years.
Then, once they finally turned 16, she spoke to her mom about how she had a crush on him, and her mom actually encouraged her to take a chance and ask her ex-boyfriend out.
“My mom told me to stop being afraid and pursue him,” she recalled.
Obviously, it worked out well, too, and she and her ex began dating. While she thought everything was fine, though, that all changed just last week.
One day, she had been at school when one of her professors got sick and decided to cancel her lecture.
So, she headed home and arrived back much earlier than expected. That was when she found out that her ex-boyfriend had been cheating on her with her own mother!
“I caught them red-handed,” she revealed.
More specifically, she actually caught her mom sleeping with her ex.

At that point, she was obviously thrown for a loop, and her mom immediately tried to apologize. Her mom also claimed that she “just wanted to feel young again.”
Regardless, she didn’t care about that and proceeded to block her mother’s number. Since then, she’s also been staying at her father’s house.
While most people might think her reaction was justified, though, her grandparents have actually accused her of overreacting!
“My grandparents are telling me I’m going too far,” she explained.
“And that because my mom put a roof over my head and food in my mouth, I shouldn’t cut her off entirely.”
Rather, her grandparents believe that she should just go home and “eventually” forgive her mother. As of now, though, that just doesn’t seem possible to her.
Still, after reflecting on her grandparents’ perspective and the whole situation, she can’t help but wonder if cutting off her mom for sleeping with her ex was really so unreasonable or not.
