She Saw A Guy Refusing To Help His Girlfriend Carry Her Luggage And Stopped To Tell Him That He Was “Acting Like A Loser”
One of the most disheartening situations to bear witness to is a woman being treated with a lack of respect and consideration by her husband or boyfriend.
Whether it’s the failure to offer a coat on a chilly evening or incessant phone scrolling in the middle of a conversation, these actions of casual indifference from men leave their partners with much to be desired.
Fortunately, some individuals who catch sight of such blatant disregard will swoop in to save the day, demonstrating genuine displays of courtesy that prove you can always find someone else to treat you better.
TikToker Madi B. Webb (@madibwebb) is based in Los Angeles, and she’s talking about how she intervened on behalf of a girl whose significant other refused to help her carry her luggage.
So, Madi had just walked out of her gym, which doubled as a hotel, when she noticed a couple outside who were about to check into the hotel.
The man was super tall and attractive, and the woman was beautiful and had curly hair. They were standing at the valet, and she was struggling to lift two huge bags.
The guy had a carry-on suitcase in one hand and his phone in the other. He wasn’t paying attention to his partner at all.
As Madi walked a little closer by, she heard the girl sweetly ask him for help with the bags because they were too heavy.
He didn’t even glance up from his phone when he responded. He told her that she was the one who had overpacked, so she needed to carry the stuff on her own. Madi was flabbergasted by his response.

She strolled over to them and offered to help the girl with her bags. When he looked at Madi, she gave him a nasty stare and told him that he was “acting like a loser” even though he was currently with the “most beautiful girl in the entire world.”
Then, Madi turned to the girl and stated that there were “one kajillion people” who would have loved to assist her with her bags, and among those people was herself. She also made a joke about how she would gladly take the girl out on a date if she ever dumped her partner.
The girl laughed, but the guy was not happy about it at all. Madi handed him one of the bags, and then the couple went on their way.
As they walked away, the girl looked back at her, and Madi gave her a little wave goodbye. It was the boldest she had ever been, especially after just coming out of the gym looking all sweaty.
Many people praised Madi for showing the girl that she deserved better treatment, and some even shared similar instances they had witnessed firsthand.
“You go, girl! Reminds me of when I was pregnant. A girlfriend of mine ran across the street to help me unload groceries because my husband wouldn’t,” commented one person.
“A woman on her birthday was getting ignored by her husband, so I told him he’d better be careful because if he’s not good to her, I can be,” chimed in another.
“Did a similar thing tonight. A girl and her BF came to pick up food where I work. I handed the food to him because he wasn’t holding anything, and he just stared at me and didn’t take it for about 20 seconds, so the girl took it. I said, ‘babe, let me grab the door for you cuz I don’t think he’s going to,'” added a third.
