After A Tragic Car Accident Took The Life Of Her Mom And Threw Her Beloved Golden Doodle Out Of The Vehicle In Colorado, Community Members Didn’t Rest Until They Found Her Pup, Bentley, 19 Days Later In The Mountains

A TikTok creator recently made thousands of people online extremely emotional after sharing a dog reunion story that is one of a kind.

Samantha Orr (@heyasammy) is a 27-year-old TikTok creator who makes beauty and lifestyle videos. She also had gained a lot of attention for bravely creating videos related to the grief she’s been dealing with since 2018 when she was in a fatal car accident that took her mom’s life.

Recently, Samantha shared one aspect of that story that makes me want to believe in angels and miracles.

In August 2018, 21-year-old Samantha, her mom, Jennifer, and her one-year-old Golden Doodle, Bentley, were setting off on one of their beloved and routine Jeep trips in her mom’s home state, Colorado.

As her mom happily drove Samantha and Bentley along one of her favorite Jeep trails, she tragically lost control of the vehicle, and their Jeep fell and tumbled hundreds of feet down the side of a mountain.

In some of her TikTok videos and blog posts, Samantha recalls seeing Bentley fly out of the Jeep as it tumbled down, and the accident was horrific. Samantha’s mom tragically died in the accident, and she suffered serious injuries.

“My mom was the most inspiring, beautiful, intelligent, gracious, and generous person I have ever met in my entire life and will probably ever meet,” says Samantha in one of her TikTok videos.

After being taken to a hospital, Samantha learned from her family that Bentley was missing after the accident, which broke her heart. However, her primary focus was on the loss of her mother, and she mentioned in videos that she didn’t have the mental or emotional capacity to dedicate hours to finding her dog in the mountains.

But thankfully, people from her community were determined to help. Once family, friends, and Colorado residents learned of Samantha’s accident and Bentley’s disappearance, they set out on a search mission to bring Bentley home and reunite him with Samantha so they could heal together.
