Have you ever heard that saying about how the way to someone’s heart is through the stomach? One woman’s ex is hoping this age-old phrase rings true.
TikToker @userabaoowiieb is showing off a haul of groceries that her ex delivered to her place via Doordash.
They broke up several months ago, but he has been buying stuff for her and love-bombing her in an attempt to win her back.
In the video, she held up two large bags from a Doordash order that he had sent to her place. Then, she opened the first bag and pulled out a bag of green grapes, followed by a package of string cheese.
Next, there was a carton of tomatoes, sour candies, a mango, three kiwis, a protein drink, and a bunch of bananas that were beginning to brown. The last item in the bag was some miniature cheeses.
“For context, these are all of my favorite foods and just things I like to snack on when I study,” she said.
Then, she instructed her ex to lay off the gifts. “It’s nice, but if you’re watching this, please stop wasting your money on me. I’m not going to change my mind.”
The second bag was heavier than the first one, so she guessed that it probably contained energy drinks. To her surprise, she took a watermelon out of the bag.
It marked the first time that a watermelon had ever been delivered to her home. Before ending the video, she added that her ex had sent her flowers the other day.
